CALENDAR CHANGE – Per the email sent by Mr. D., we have added an 11:15am early once a month on Wednesdays this year for Teacher Institute afternoons. The first of those days being Wed., Sept. 21. There will be no lunch served and no After Care on this day.
EMERGENCY FORMS – were sent home the first week of school. I still have 10 families that have not returned their forms. Each has received an email. PLEASE get these turned in! We need this current information to be able to contact you in case of an emergency.
AFTER SCHOOL ART –Mr. Duis is planning to begin Afterschool Art instruction sometime in September. Please contact him at school (625-2253) or at home (626-4659) if your child is interested in taking classes.
EDUCATION COM. MTG. – will be held Wed., Sept. 7th at 6:00PM in the staff lounge.
PARENT MEETING – will be held Monday, Sept. 12th at 6:30PM in Bales Hall.
BOYS BASKETBALL – organizational meeting will be held on Monday, Sept. 19th at 6:30 in the cafeteria. All parents and boys in grades 5 – 8 that are interested should attend the meeting.
HOME & SCHOOL – first meeting will be Wed., Sept. 21st in the staff lounge at 6:00PM. Please join us as we discuss this year’s Home & School plans. All are welcome to attend!
NEWMAN HOMECOMING PARADE – will be Friday, September 23rd. St. Mary’s will once again have a float in the parade. M ore information to follow.
REMINDER – Sunday, Sept. 25th will be our Open House & Grandparent’s Day. The Open House will begin after 8:30 Mass until 11:30AM. The Scholastic Book Fair will also be on this day. Donuts and coffee will be served in the parish center in Bales Hall.
DELICIOUS DELIVERIES – our first Delicious Delivery boxed lunch sale will be Thursday, Sept. 29th. Worker schedules were sent home last week. Be sure and verify your scheduled shift!
2011 DINNER & FUNDRAISING AUCTION – Mark your calendars for October 15th. That’s the date of this year’s Dinner & Fundraising Auction. More information to follow!
